AOC continues to expand its AGON series with the AG322QC4. The curved, 31.5-inch (80 cm) gaming monitor uses a VA panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and supports DisplayHDR 400. The 16: 9 display has a three-sided frameless design, a contrast ratio of 3000 : 1 and a dynamic 1800R curvature. With a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a response time of 4 ms (GtG) and the support for AMD's FreeSync 2, the equipment can at least be seen on paper.
According to AOC, the monitor is suitable for e-athletes. Thanks to a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 4 ms (GtG), there should be no motion blur even in fast-paced action-packed games. The Low Input Lag mode of AOC further optimizes the monitor's response time. The video signal bypasses a large part of the monitor's internal video processing, which should lead to an even faster gameplay.
The presets in each game mode are customized to meet the requirements for responsiveness and visualization in genres as varied as first-person shooter (FPS), racing games, or real-time strategy games (RTS). Of course, users can also save their individual settings and easily switch between the default settings via the included cable OSD controller (QuickSwitch). Shadow Control also lets you adjust black levels in the OSD to lighten dark areas or darken very bright areas without affecting the rest of the image.
