Externally, the premium gaming series from Iiyama has evolved. The design now looks slimmer than its predecessor due to the frameless display. In addition, the whole ergonomic package is now available with the pivot mode, from which many office monitors can cut off a target. The processing is also at a decent level. Color-wise, the Iiyama GB2760QSU can convince after the calibration, only the color representation from the factory is less successful, but this does not weigh so heavily, because a TN panel for graphic artists or amateur photographers because of the viewing angle dependency is not an option anyway.
For occasional movie nights, the device offers limited. Although a very good black image is shown, and material can also be reproduced in 24p, but here is the TN panel the weak point. This requires a central seating position and becomes a pretty lonely story.
The gaming performance, however, can fully convince. The response time is in the top range compared to the models we have already tested, and an update rate of 144 Hz is a feast for the eyes anyway. Also, very pleasing is the performance of AMD's FreeSync, which has not always convinced us in the past. But with the Iiyama GB2760QSU the function shows no weaknesses, cannot be troubled by problem games and eliminates tearing as reliably as one would expect.
All in all, you get a well-equipped gaming display with great performance at a comparatively low price in its class. For this reason, the Iiyama GB2760QSU receives a buy recommendation and is also our price tip
