With the ENSO, BitFenix is launching the long awaited case shown at Taipei’s Computex, available in black and white. The clean design concept is well balanced between a perfectly organized interior structure and a sleek exterior design. It is complemented by a 4mm see-through-tinted tempered glass panel on the side and addressable RGB illumination surrounding the metallic front. It comes with a pre-installed controller, compatible to both, BitFenix Alchemy 2.0, static, and BitFenix 3.0, addressable, RGB products. Users can choose to control addressable RGB LED illumination on Enso and Alchemy 3.0 addressable RGB LED strips by Asus motherboards equipped with AURA SYNC 3pin technology or just use the pre-installed controller on Enso case to control the RGB effect on metallic front and Alchemy 3.0 addressable RGB LED strips if non AURA SYNC 3 pin motherboards are used.
The ENSO comes with a PSU shroud hiding the PSU and up to two HDDs beneath it, while three SSDs can be attached to the back of the motherboard tray, showing only the motherboard, graphics cards and the cooling solution through the tempered glass panel.
The 23mm cable management space behind motherboard tray makes it an easy job to manage the cables clean.
Too cool down the components, hidden air-vents are placed around the metal cover on the front panel to smooth front intake. ENSO supports up to two 140mm fans or a 280mm radiators (especially for PC build with high performance CPU like i7), in the front while a 120mm rear-fan or radiator at the rear and up to two 120mm fans in the top will push the hot air out. Enso also supports up to 160mm high CPU air cooler.
Enso doesn’t compromise the comfort of silence level. The clean interior design creates no interference to the air flow blowing straight on GPU that helps not only to cool down the GPU also reduces the noise level of the air flow. The close and clean PSU shroud keeps the HDD silent beneath it. And the soft foams complemented with tempered glass lock the noise inside. Recently, AMD launched four second-gen Ryzen models: the Ryzen 5 2600, the Ryzen 5 2600X, the Ryzen 7 2700, and the Ryzen 7 2700X. These new CPUs are based on Zen+ architecture, which is a refresh of the Zen architecture used on the first-gen Ryzen CPUs. This architecture uses a new manufacturing process of 12 nm (first-gen Zen architecture uses a 14 nm process,) which allows higher clocks. The new architecture also brings optimizations such as lower cache latencies and advances on the SenseMI technology, which controls the clock rate based on CPU load, temperatures, and other factors. Keep in mind, however, that it is not the “Zen 2” architecture, which will be launched in 2019 with a 7 nm manufacturing process.
These new models are compatible with the AM4 motherboards launched last year, with the first Ryzen CPUs. AMD released a new chipset, X470, so there are new motherboard on the market, but “old” motherboard (based on X370, B350, and A320 chipsets) and new ones (based on X470) are compatible with both first-gen and second-gen Ryzen models. However, it may be needed to update BIOS on older motherboards in order to support the recent CPUs.
When we compared it to its competitor, the Core i7-8700K, we have the same scenario we saw on the first generation: the AMD model is faster on some applications, mostly in tasks that use all the threads, like video and image rendering, and slower in other ones, mostly games.

Enermax positioned themselves as a big player in AIO systems for CPU cooling so the performance and easy of use is pretty much expected with their products and the Enermax Liqmax II 120 is not an exception. From our experience with the first generation of Liqmax we are very pleased with the performance we got from the Liqmax II 120 at idle and fully loaded state of our test-machines. On idle, our test bench was whisper quiet. Under full load the system stayed relatively quiet as well. The Batwing design of the fan blades did a great job of pushing the cooling air through the radiator at a relatively low RPM (2000).

The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti will be a high-end graphics card by NVIDIA. The Samsung EVO series has been the go to SSD for price versus performance aficionados for many years now and it looks like that won’t be changing anytime soon. We topped the drives rated 550 MB/s sequential read and 520 MB/s sequential write speeds and came close enough to the drives 98k/90k 4K Random IOPS read/write performance target. Samsung wasn’t able to boost the raw performance of this series due to being limited by the SATA III interface, but they were able to make a handful of key changes that improves the user experience. This new Windows, available as a free upgrade for existing Windows 7 and Windows 8 noncorporate users, is built from the ground up to pursue Microsoft's vision of a unified OS that spans all devices without alienating any one platform. It's an attempt to safeguard Microsoft's crumbling software hegemony, assailed on all sides by Google and Apple. And it's a vision of the future as Microsoft sees it, where a single user experience spans every piece of technology we touch. Welcome to Windows as a service.
Yes, this new OS is chock-full of fresh features. To name just a few: a lean, fast Internet Explorer replacement called Edge; Microsoft's Siri-like voice-controlled virtual assistant, Cortana; and the ability to stream real-time games to your desktop from an Xbox One in another room. (And in case you're wondering: there is no "Windows 9" -- Microsoft skipped it, going straight from 8 to 10.)
But Windows 10 is also the end of a long, awkward road that began with the release of Windows 8 in 2012, when Microsoft tried to convince a world of keyboard and mouse wielders that touchscreens were the way to go -- or else. Ironically, in 2015, the PC hardware for that touchscreen future is now here -- everything from 2-in-1s such as the Lenovo Yoga line to convertible tablets with detachable keyboards, like Microsoft's own Surface. And Windows 10 smoothly lets users transition from "tablet" to "PC" mode on such devices like never before.
For the rest of the PC universe -- including those who still prefer good old-fashioned keyboard and mouse navigation -- Windows 10 is a welcome return to form. The Start menu, inexplicably yanked from 8, is back and working the way you expect it to. Those live tiles from the Windows 8 home screen still exist, but they've been attached to the Start menu, where they make a lot more sense. And the fiendishly hidden Charms bar has been morphed into the more straightforward (and easier to find) Action Center.
As always, there are some quibbles and gripes with the end product, but all-in-all -- after living with Windows 10 for months -- I can say it's a winner. It's flexible, adaptable and customizable. And it's been battle-tested by an army of beta testers for the better part of a year, making it one of the most robust operating system rollouts in recent memory.
A fresh Start
The Start menu is back; it's almost funny how relieving that is. That humble Start button has been a fixture on the lower left corner of the Windows desktop since the halcyon days of Windows 95, offering speedy access to apps and settings. Press it on Windows 10, and you'll see the latest step in a long conversation about the state of the PC industry.
The past sits on the left: a neat column with shortcuts to your most used apps. Press the "All Apps" button and you'll get an alphabetical list of all of the apps installed on your PC. There are folders in there too -- press them, and extra options will fly out, just like they always have.
The future -- or at least, the future as Microsoft envisions it -- sits on the right side of the Start menu. These are the colorful, animated live tiles that debuted in Windows 8, pulling double duty as app shortcuts and informative widgets. You can resize these live tiles, drag them about to arrange them into groups and pin as many apps as you'd like -- the entire Start menu can be shrunk or expanded to suit your liking. It's essentially a miniaturized version of the fullscreen Start menu we saw in Windows 8. Hate live tiles? Then unpin them to excise them from your computer, leaving you with the narrow column of frequently used apps we've known for so long.
