The solid chassis is made of one millimeter thick SECC steel. Both side parts and the front are lined with insulation mats. The solid lid is also insulated, but can also be removed completely, for example to improve the airflow. Because underneath, a 240 mm radiator can be attached like on the front. On the front, in the look of brushed aluminum, there are two subtle ventilation slots on the side for the air supply. A 240 radiator can also be accommodated there.
In order to ensure ventilation of the hardware installed in the housing, two of six possible 120 mm fans are already included and installed in the housing. One is placed in the lowest of three possible places behind the front, the second in the only place on the back. Two additional 120 mm fans can be installed under the cover.
The entire interior is coated in black and provided with a power supply cover to achieve a particularly clean look. There is space for a permanently installed hard drive cage with brackets for two 3.5 or 2.5 inch drives and the power supply. A holder for a total of two 2.5-inch drives is attached to the back of the mainboard tray. The purchase argument for the fastest gaming CPU was previously reserved for Intel processors. But with the new Ryzen processors of the 5000 series, this changes. The single-core performance could be increased drastically and the Intel Core i9-10900K remains around 20 percent behind the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X.

The B550 chipset is the heart of the MSI B550M Pro-VDH WiFi motherboard and has been specially optimized for the Ryzen CPUs of the 3000 series "Matisse" and the 5000 series "Vermeer". After NVIDIA launched the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti on the market in week 22, the next model is now following: the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. The RTX 3070 Ti achieves a good ten to fifty percent higher performance than the already comfortably fast RTX 3070 and can therefore basically satisfy almost all requirements, provided that WQHD gaming is the desired goal at most. Although the new ampere card is just below the Radeon RX 6800 when it comes to rasterizing, it can be around 21 percent behind when it comes to ray tracing. The warm feeling in the stomach area is also psychologically valuable, with the RTX 3070 Ti receiving the best, fully active GA104 chips and fast-paced GDDR6X memory. Modern game code is becoming more and more floating point, so time is an ally. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12.
