The notebook's case is made entirely of black plastic. There are no surface textures. The top of the base unit and the back of the lid are rubberized. The speaker bar is above the keyboard and is angled towards the user. A power button that cannot be overlooked was placed between the speaker bar and the keyboard. On the underside of the device you will find two easy-to-open maintenance hatches that allow access to all the hardware.
The case is very solidly made. The device does not show any weaknesses in terms of stability. The hinges keep the lid firmly in place. The lid can be opened with one hand.
The notebook offers a multi-color keyboard. The main keys have a size of about 15 x 15 mm. Overall, the keys have a normal drop and a clear pressure point. We like their crisp resistance. All in all a keyboard with a very good typing experience and has a built-in ClickPad with Microsoft PTP multi-gesture and scrolling function
This leaves plenty of room for using gesture control. The smooth surface of the pad makes gliding quite easy for the fingers. The various gestures can be switched on and off individually in the pad's configuration menu.
The device is equipped with a 17.3-inch anti-glare matte display operating at a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 144 Hz (FHD)
The WLAN module also provides the Bluetooth functionality of the notebook. A Gigabit Ethernet chip from Realtek's RTL8168/8111 family handles wired network connections without a murmur. The built-in webcam generates images in resolutions of up to 1920x1080.
The gaming scion makes maintenance easy for its owner: large flaps allow quick access to the hardware. The device contains two working memory banks, 1x M.2 2280 SSD via PCI-Express Gen4x4, 1x 2.5" HDD. The two fans can be cleaned.

The Intel Core i5-13500H is a mid-range CPU from the Raptor Lake-H series (Alder Lake architecture), which was introduced in 2023. The CPU offers all performance cores (P cores, Golden Cove architecture) and all efficiency cores (E cores, Gracemont architecture). The P cores support Hyperthreading (therefore 16 threads together) and clock from 2.6 to 4.7 GHz (single core boost, multi-core maximum 4.6 GHz). The E cores clock from 1.9 - 3.5 GHz and should offer a comparable performance to the old Skylake cores (e.g. i7-6300HQ). Compared to the older Core i5-12500H, the 13500H offers higher clock speeds (e.g. +200 MHz boost of the P cores).
HI-TECH uses only full-copper heatpipe cooling. This type of cooling ensures optimal conditions and makes this unique notebook: While HI-TECH only uses this technology, other manufacturers often obstruct only inferior aluminum / copper hybrid or even pure aluminum coolers. These have a much worse cooling performance. Especially in gaming applications when devices are heavily used, there is a risk that the unit overheats. This leads to the fact that the individual components down contacts for reasons of protection, which minimizes the power of the device enormously. In the worst case, there could be breakdowns and could shorten the life lead.
With the HI-TECH-copper heatpipe cooling in contrast the notebook is perfectly chilled even under extreme stress!
Need some examples? Maximum 34.9 ° C on the top and a maximum of 34.5 ° C on the bottom are given the high performance, a very low value. Make long gaming sessions are extremely comfortable, more than 24.5 ° C we could not measure on the palm rest. In idle mode, not even a temperature of 28.4 ° C is exceeded.
One might assume that the low surface temperatures expense of its components. But thought wrong: In our several-hour full load test (Furmark & Prime), the processor and the graphics card was far from critical regions, a maximum of 76 respectively 80 ° C gave the CPUID from Hardware Monitor. In idle mode, the components are shuttled one to nearly 40 ° C.
Mobile INTEL HM670 Express chipset. PCIe (PCI Express) is a data transfer standard. Rule of thumb: The speed roughly doubles from version to version. So PCIe 5.0 is about twice as fast as PCIe 4.0. The "x" is short for "lane", i.e. a single line. "x4" means that there are four lines of the corresponding PCIe version.
The more lanes a chipset offers, the more devices can be used simultaneously at full transmission speed. A significant advantage of the new Intel CPUs compared to the previous model: They support PCIe 5.0 and above, for example the connection of particularly powerful graphics cards and M.2 SSDs.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU (codename GN21-X4) is a high-end notebook graphics card that was introduced in early 2023. It is based on the AD107 chip (Ada Lovelace architecture) and probably offers 3,072 shaders and a 128-bit memory bus with 8 GB GDDR6 graphics memory and an effective clock speed of 16 Gbps. The TGP (power consumption) can range from 35 to 115 watts plus an additional 15-25 watts Dynamic Boost (from the CPU). Depending on the TDP, the maximum clock rate ranges from 1470 MHz (35 watts) to 2370 MHz (115 watts).
According to leaked benchmarks, the RTX 4060 laptop GPU can be placed between the RTX 3070 laptop GPU and the RTX 3070 laptop GPU (with a maximum TGP of 115W likely).
Thanks to the 80 tensor cores, the RTX4060 also supports DLSS3 including frame generation. However, the 20 ray tracing cores will only rarely be used, since the performance of the RTX 4060 is hardly sufficient for maximum details and ray tracing in modern games.

CREATIVE Sound BlasterX, Hi-Resolution Gaming 360 ° Sound. The SBX technologies create unprecedentedly realistic sound with stunning 3D surround effects for speakers and headsets. Listen and be heard very clear - in videoconferencing, multi-player games and online chats.
During our test phase, we especially noticed the gaming surround mode. The spatial sound representation (360 degrees) works perfectly. In games like Battlefield 3 or Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, we were able to make out the direction of opponents clearly. Especially in combination with a high quality headset this technology works surprisingly well. But even when using a speaker system, the new Creative sound card can convince. Clear height, intense bass and clean mids were the order of the day.
Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Windows start
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
System performance
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
3D performance
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
