19 percent more performance per cycle, an average of 26 percent more 3D performance and up to 24 percent more efficiency. AMD wants to make Intel look old. Thanks to the extensively improved Zen 3 architecture, multi and single threading performance should increase by 20 percent and more, while the core counts of 16, 12, 8 and 6 remain the same.
At a higher level, a CPU cluster (CCX) now consists of eight instead of four CPU cores. A single core can thus access a full 32 MByte level 3 cache in single-threading applications; In addition, the communication effort is reduced if an application uses more than four cores. 3D games also benefit from this.
On average, the performance per cycle (Instructions per Cycle, IPC) should increase by 19 percent - more than when switching from Zen + to Zen 2 (+ 15 percent). In games, AMD mentions an average increase of 26 percent. While Intel's Core-i-10000 processors were usually a bit faster than AMD's Ryzen 3000 in gaming, AMD wants to deliver the best player CPUs with the successors. Only in the rarest cases should the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X deliver fewer frames per second than Intel's fastest gaming processor, the Core i9-10900K, such as Battlefield 5. In the esports games League of Legends (LoL) and Counter- Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO), which used to do particularly well to Intel, AMD wants to outpace the competition.

AQUAFUSION is an all-in-one CPU water cooler with individually controllable RGB LEDs. The RGB water block features a 3D layered design with Aurabelt™ for unique lighting effects. Together with the addressable ENERMAX SquA RGB fans, AQUAFUSION can create a dynamic visual experience via the mainboard software or the included control box. The ENERMAX SquA RGB fans generate a strong, centered air pressure through the Vortex frame construction in order to quickly dissipate the heat from the cooler. Thanks to the dual-chamber design patented by ENERMAX, the Central Coolant Inlet (CCI) and the Shunt Channel Technology (SCT), the cooler achieves faster heat transfer and a longer service life. AQUAFUSION is a unique cooling solution for special gaming rigs or spectacular system builds for Intel and AMD CPUs.
AQUAFUSION is an all-in-one CPU water cooler with pre-filled coolant. This makes a water cooler as simple as a regular air cooler. Easy installation and no maintenance. The fully sealed design ensures minimal liquid evaporation and long service life.
With colorful lighting and quiet cooling, AQUAFUSION is best suited for case mods and gaming systems.
The patented two-chamber design isolates the pump from the heated coolant and extends the life of the radiator. The cold coolant enters the first chamber with the pump and is then pushed through the cold plate to absorb the heat. The heated coolant is collected in the second chamber and then transported to the radiator for cooling.
Central Coolant Inlet (CCI) injects the coolant in the center above the CPU and distributes it evenly across the cold plate using patented Shunt Channel Technology (SCT). The result is a shorter coolant flow path and faster heat transfer.
The premium RGB water block with 3D layered design and Aurabelt™ lighting is capable of creating colorful rainbow effects with 16.8 million colors. Synchronizable RGB lighting is possible via addressable RGB headers on Asus, Asrock, MSI and Gigabyte motherboards.
ENERMAX SquA RGB fans support addressable RGB technology for a unique RGB lighting experience. The fan is equipped with a vortex frame that can generate a centered, stronger air pressure that is optimized for radiators. The frame of SquA RGB is equipped with rubber damping pads to prevent vibration transmission to the case.

ASUS has now renamed the formerly independent TUF series (The Ultimate Force) to "TUF Gaming" and has been the entry point into the ASUS gaming world ever since. The ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) is characterized by the colors black, gray and a little yellow. The I/O panel and the PCH fan are encased in a plastic cover. Fortunately, a passive cooler is pre-installed for the lower M.2 connection.
With the X570-FCH, AMD is taking a big step forward compared to the X370 and X470-FCH, because the X570-FCH is the first chipset to establish the PCI Express 4.0 feature in the desktop segment. At the same time, the number of lanes increases from 8 to 16, of which 12 can be flexibly distributed by the mainboard manufacturer. The CPU and chipset are connected via a downlink and uplink with PCIe 4.0 x4 (Ryzen 3000).
The adjustable RGB lighting on the lower right side provides visual accents. With the TUF Gaming X570-Plus Gaming, manufacturer ASUS relies on high-quality materials and clean manufacturing. The engineers paid special attention to the capacitors, which had to go through a strict quality test. In general, the layout of the board is well thought out.
ASUS installs four DIMM sockets (dual channel) on the mainboard. With current 32 GB memory kits, you could create a more than sufficient memory expansion to 128 GB (max. 3,200 MHz, 4,400 MHZ in the OC). In order to be able to avoid the problem of possible overheating, the manufacturer installs two passive heat sinks (voltage converters) and an active chipset cooler (fan) at the factory. ASUS has given the board a digital power supply that can access 6+2 phases (6 phases for the CPU; 2 phases for the memory). With the new X570 boards, ASUS advertises the so-called SafeSlot, which the manufacturer describes as a particularly hard-wearing version of a PCIe slot with metal reinforcement. This should offer potential advantages when using heavy high-end graphics cards.
Positive characteristics of the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi):
very good performance with a sufficient CPU power supply
Sufficient equipment, including eight SATA 6GBit/s interfaces and three USB 3.1 Gen2 sockets
good overall performance, good stability and good energy efficiency when idle
two M.2 M-Key interfaces (PCIe 4.0 x4)
WLAN-ac up to 1.73 GBit/s and Bluetooth 5.0 for the Wi-Fi version
Negative characteristics of the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi):

10,496 Shader-ALUs with around 35 TFLOPS computing power and 24 GiByte GDDR6X memory with almost 1 TByte / s data throughput: The Geforce RTX 3090 is not only a big fish technically, but also in all other matters.
In terms of price and performance, Nvidia places the Geforce RTX 3090 roughly where models of the "Titan" series have been waiting for discerning customers for years. Unique selling points of the Titan graphics cards are their exorbitant storage capacity and special software features to achieve higher performance in (semi-) professional applications such as CAD and rendering.
The Geforce RTX 3090 is based on the new GA102, Nvidia's most advanced gaming processor to date. The chip houses 10,752 shader ALUs in the "full fat" version - a value that you have to let sink in first. If you do design, rendering and video processing on your home computer, you can use the numerous arithmetic units of a modern graphics card productively, as the corresponding software is capable of doing this. The more Tera-FLOPS and Giga-Bytes, the more comfortable it is to work with large models, textures and data and the faster the results can be presented instead of waiting minutes or even hours for the finished image. Some programs are now able to use the specialized Tensor and RT cores in Turing and Ampere graphics cards for significant time savings - a clear added value for everyone who works with them.
Games. On the PC. They should be pretty and fluid. And that is exactly what the Geforce RTX 3090 does, of course, even better than any other graphics card on the market. However, it makes little sense to operate such a bolide on a full or WQHD screen. In most cases, the enormous computing power dissipates in the CPU limit. If, on the other hand, you want to fire up an Ultra HD display as smoothly as possible, like to venture into real Hi-Res realms with DSR and install graphic mods every now and then, you will benefit from the capacities of an RTX 3090. As we work out in the extreme benchmarks, Ampere feels at home wherever there are lots of pixels. The more work per frame, the better the chip-internal utilization. And future games will be more demanding. From our point of view, the RTX 3090 has a long, fulfilling gaming life ahead of it. The RTX 3080, on the other hand, will sooner or later have to nibble on the memory load of the next-gen games, especially with future ray tracing implementations.

SAMSUNG SSD PM9A1 1TB, M.2, design Solid State Module (SSM), form factor M.2 2280, interface M.2 / M-Key (PCIe 4.0 x4), read 7000MB / s, write 5100MB / s SLC-Cached IOPS 4K read / write 1000k / 850k, memory modules 3D-NAND TLC, Samsung, 136 layers (V-NAND v6), reliability prognosis 1.5 million hours (MTBF), Samsung Elpis (S4LV003) controller, 8 channels, 1GB cache (LPDDR4), SLC cache, NVMe 1.3c protocol, data protection functions 256bit AES, TCG Opal 2.0, power consumption 0.035W (idle), 0.005W (sleep mode), special features L1.2 low-power standby.
The Samsung OEM SSD PM9A1 is made entirely of semiconductor components and uses NAND flash memory, which has high reliability and advanced technology in a small form factor. Thanks to the support of the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 4.0 interface standard, performance is much faster than that of SATA SSDs. A comparison of the speed makes it clear that the PM9A1 version is definitely ahead. In contrast to the 6,000 MB / s, the two previous models only offered 3,500 MB / s. This is no wonder. After all, both OEMs were equipped with PCIe 3.0 and not the latest PCIe 4.0 standard.
The Samsung PM9A1 is an M.2 SSD with PCIe 4.0 and practically the OEM counterpart to the 980 Pro.
TOSHIBA P300 Desktop PC 4TB, SATA 6Gb / s, form factor 3.5 ", speed 5400rpm, cache 128MB, power consumption 4.11W (operation), 2.32W (idle), volume 24dB (A) (operation), 22dB (A) (idle) Recording method Shingled Magnetic Recording (SMR), Drive Managed SMR sectors 4KB with emulation (512e).
As an HDD, the Toshiba P300 can of course not keep up with the performance of an SSD, but at least it costs only a fraction of correspondingly large SSDs such as the Samsung 960 Pro. In comparison with its HDD counterparts, the transfer rates of the P300 are still good. The hard drive achieved a read rate of 198 MB / s in the test. The same can be said about the writing speed of the P300. In the test, our test files are written to the large memory at a rate of 195 Mbyte / s - the access time is a good 6.88 milliseconds. At least among the 4TB models, we have measured the best results with the P300 so far.
With a great price-performance ratio, the Toshiba P300 with a capacity of four terabytes is aimed at PC users with large amounts of data and a tight budget. Despite the low price, the hard drive does well in the test and can convince with transfer rates of almost 200 MB per second.

Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
