INTEL Core i9-10900KF, clock frequency @ 5.30 GHz, socket 1200 (LGA), code name Comet Lake-S, TDP 125W, cores 10, threads 20, base clock 3.70GHz, turbo clock 5.30GHz, memory controller Dual Channel PC4-23466U (DDR4-2933 ), CPU features Optane Memory Support, Thermal Velocity Boost (5.30GHz), Turbo Boost Max 3.0 (5.20GHz), Turbo Boost 2.0, vPro, SMT (Hyper-Threading), VT-x, VT-d, VT-x EPT, Intel 64, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, Idle States, EIST, Thermal Monitoring, IPT, SIPP, AES-NI, Secure Key, SGX, OS Guard, TXT, XD Bit, Boot Guard, TDP -down (95W), TDP-down frequency (3.30GHz), multiplier freely selectable, production 14nm ++ (Intel), L2 cache 2.5MB (10x 256kB), L3 cache 20MB, chipset interface DMI 3.0, 8GT / s ( PCIe 3.0 x4), PCIe-Lanes 16x (PCIe 3.0), memory max. 128GB, memory bandwidth 45.8GB / s.
With the top model, INTEL is now launching ten cores and up to 5.3 GHz. Intel Core i-10000, that means 32 different models, up to DDR4-2933 support (only for Core i9-10900 [K / F] and Core i7-10700 [K / F]), core variations from two to ten Computing hearts including HT (SMT), a new maximum limit of thermal design power (TDP) of 125 watts and a new type of boost technology, which is reserved for the top model, the Core i9-10900 (K / F). As usual with Intel (almost), the new CPUs require a new CPU socket and thus brand new mainboards.
The CPU has ten native cores, which can provide up to 20 threads via HT. The base clock is at (up to) 3.7 GHz and a special Thermal Velocity Boost enables up to 5.3 GHz single-core and up to 4.9 GHz all-core. This new type of boost is used for the first time in desktop processors and the Core i9-10900 (K / F) is the only CPU in the entire Comet Lake S portfolio that has this.
Intel's Turbo Boost Max Technology 2.0, the mode that all new core models from Comet Lake-S have, clocks up individual cores to a predetermined maximum, which is often the case with games, since these are not yet on many CPU cores are programmed. The Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 builds on this, but has one special feature: Similar to the Zen 2 processors from AMD, the Comet Lake processors generally also have individual "higher-quality" CPU cores, which one Participate higher clock frequency with the same power supply. That boost mode automatically recognizes these cores and then clocks them up again by 100 MHz.
Nobody doubted the dominant gaming performance of the Core i9-10900K in advance. With ten cores clocking at up to 5.3 GHz, this CPU logically has to deliver the best performance. But there are exceptions like Total War Three Kingdoms or The Witcher 3, which cannot do anything with more than eight cores. Then even a higher clock will not work. The performance of the Core i9-10900K in Anno 1800 is absolutely impressive. The build-up game from Ubisoft shows the best case when it comes to single-core optimization and low internal latencies in the CPU.
The good frame times of the Intel Core i9-10900K once again confirm the high gaming performance, because they are consistently very low and smooth.
ENERMAX Liqmax III ARGB 360, type internal (closed system), heat sink CPU, heat sink material copper, compatibility CPU 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-3, 2066, AM2, AM2 +, AM3, AM3 +, AM4, FM1 , FM2, FM2 +, radiator size 360mm, radiator thickness 27mm, radiator material aluminum, fan 3x 120mm, 500-1600rpm, 14-27dB (A), 38.23-122.5m³ / h, pump 12V, special features LED (RGB), LED control, wired remote control.
The Enermax Liqmax III 360 ARGB complete water cooling combines first-class performance with a stylish design. Digitally addressable RGB LED lighting on CPU block and fan
360 mm aluminum radiator for maximum cooling performance
Three 120 mm ARGB fans with a static pressure of 1.98 mm H2O
Max. 122.5 m³ / h delivery volume at max. 1600 rpm
Easy handling thanks to flexible hoses with kink protection
Compatible with common AMD & Intel sockets
Even the Liqmax III RGB 240 can offer a respectable cooling performance and outperform some 240 mm models from the competition. The Liqmax III ARGB 360 goes one step further. The 360 mm radiator cools significantly better, especially when the fan speed is reduced. And there are also clear differences in the lighting effect. The regular RGB lighting with the restriction to one color at the same time is almost simple. The ARGB variant is more colorful and is just right for users who want particularly varied lighting. A clear plus is that, unlike the RGB version, a controller is included. The lighting can also be controlled independently of the mainboard.

The more pixels, the greater the data load, the better the Geforce RTX 3090 positions itself. Although the graphics card does not manage to turn every unplayable scenario into a liquid feast, the differences compared to an overclocked Geforce RTX 2080 Ti are more than clear - and we're talking about the fastest graphics card that was available between early 2019 and mid-2020. In the end, one thing is clear: No matter what task you entrust the RTX 3090 with, it can do it. Lack of memory is absolutely not an issue in games, ever. At best, we managed to address 21 of the 24 GiByte, but in the deep red Fps slide show area.
If you are seriously toying with a Geforce RTX 3090, you should therefore also think about a new monitor. Whether native Ultra HD or 5K using DSR on a WQHD screen: New games benefit greatly from finer scanning and thus shine in the best possible splendor. But that's not all, the additional pixels help the GA102 to utilize its numerous FP32 arithmetic units. After the recent measurements, we are finally convinced that Ampere graphics cards will age excellently, as they can cope with future workloads (including refined denoising) better than previous GPU architectures. The relative weakness at low resolutions then becomes a strength. The Geforce RTX 3090 is therefore a bright future, while the RTX 3080 will have problems sooner or later. Your computing power is sufficient for extreme cases, but the storage capacity is a stumbling block.

The Samsung OEM SSD PM9A1 is made entirely of semiconductor components and uses NAND flash memory, which has high reliability and advanced technology in a small form factor. Thanks to the support of the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 4.0 interface standard, performance is much faster than that of SATA SSDs. A comparison of the speed makes it clear that the PM9A1 version is definitely ahead. In contrast to the 6,000 MB / s, the two previous models only offered 3,500 MB / s. This is no wonder. After all, both OEMs were equipped with PCIe 3.0 and not the latest PCIe 4.0 standard.
The Samsung PM9A1 is an M.2 SSD with PCIe 4.0 and practically the OEM counterpart to the 980 Pro.

It was not too many years ago that the idea of a 1TB drive was almost mind-boggling. However, with the continued explosion of digital data, including large-file-size games that support hi-resolution and/or 3D graphics, HD movies, HD music (and more), the need to store that data now makes a 1TB HDD not seem all that large. Also, enterprise storage systems are experiencing similar (if not even greater) growth, so more storage capacity with fewer drives is always going to be an attractive option. Hence, the market is definitely there for ever-larger capacity HDDs.
Toshiba’s DT01ACA300 HDD is a consistent performer. In our testing, it attained over 190MB/s sequential reads and writes for all transfer sizes of 16KB and larger, being under 190MB/s for only the smallest 1/3 of the transfer sizes. This demonstrates a high level of consistent performance. Our testing gave us a total score that was 20% higher than other similar drives. Our PCMark Vantage HDD suite testing gave us a total score that was 10% higher than other similar drives. In our HD Tune Pro testing, we even saw burst speeds of nearly 418MB/s, this is flash storage territory.
Toshiba’ DT01ACA300 HDD is a top-performing mechanical drive. We saw a number of benchmark results that best any of the 3TB mechanical HDDs that we have previously tested. Note that in the PCMark Vantage testing, this HDD excelled with both Windows Media Center and Windows Photo Gallery – in other words, content creation. Although this drive is marketed as a client HDD, we are seeing performance that should also appeal to media professionals and other content creators, and 3TB of capacity in a single drive to boot.

Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.

Main issue is that the 120mm fan for the radiator doesn't go below 1000rpm (that's the lowest the Motherboard goes.)
That alone pumps so much air through that it creates quite some noise.
Wouldn't recommend it to anyone that expects a silent box. It just isn't that.
