After uniformly designed and therefore mostly closed fronts were popular in recent years, there has been a growing number of enclosures that use more open designs and thus promise a stronger airflow. These models also include the new Citadel Mesh RGB, which Kolink has placed as an attractive Micro-ATX case. A total of three 120 mm A-RGB fans shine through the front or through the glass side panel. The lighting is controlled either via a 5 V A RGB connection on the mainboard or conveniently via the remote control supplied.
The interior of the Citadel Mesh RGB not only promises enough space for a micro ATX mainboard and an ATX power supply, but also for tall tower coolers and long graphics cards. If necessary, water cooling with a 240mm radiator can also be used.
The cooling performance is accordingly significantly better than in comparable, closed housings. It is particularly positive that the A-RGB fans have PWM connections and can be easily controlled via a single PWM connection using the integrated PWM distributor. This is an exception in this price range. The fans are not whisper-quiet, but if you turn them down, the noise level will be completely unproblematic for most users.
Compared to a typical ATX case, Kolink's micro-ATX case saves a lot of space, but is still generous with a view of high tower coolers and long graphics cards. The three pre-assembled A-RGB fans shape the appearance of the housing - and the Citadel Mesh RGB is particularly user-friendly when it comes to lighting control. In addition to the LED button and control via a suitable mainboard, the supplied remote control can also be used. The glass side panel also provides convenience because it can be easily opened as a door.
INTEL Core i5-13500, clock frequency @ 4.8GHz, cores 14, threads 20, turbo clock 4.80GHz (Turbo Boost 2.0), 4.80GHz (P-Core), 3.50GHz (E-Core ), base clock 2.50GHz (P-Core), 1.80GHz (E-Core), graphics yes (Intel UHD Graphics 770), socket Intel 1700 (LGA1700), "Socket V", codename Alder Lake-S, architecture Golden Cove, L2 cache 11.5MB (6x 1.25MB + 8x 512kB), L3 cache 24MB, memory controller Dual Channel DDR5-4800 (PC5-38400), DDR4-3200 (PC4-25600), 76.8GB/s, max. 128GB ECC -Support yes, SMT yes (Intel Hyper-Threading), PCIe lanes 16x PCIe 5.0, 4x PCIe 4.0, chipset interface DMI 4.0, 16GT/s (PCIe 4.0 x8).
The processor has six performance cores and eight efficiency cores - the Core i5-12500 still had to make do with six performance cores and zero efficiency cores. This increases the number of threads that can be processed at the same time from twelve to 20. The additional cores are noticeable in Cinebench R23, because the previous model can be surpassed by 53 percent with a multi-thread result of 19,891 points. The Intel Core i5-13600K stays 21.8 faster. Single-threaded performance of 1,901 points falls 5 percent behind the Core i5-13600K.
With this, the INTEL Core i5-13500 achieves better multi-core performance than the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, which is significantly more expensive than the Core i5-13500. The INTEL Core i5-13500 processor can reach clock speeds of up to 4.9 GHz when using one core and up to 4.4 GHz when using all cores.

Sapphire promises higher performance in the Pulse version, paired with more efficient cooling. It is therefore based on the upper performance range for this model. Cooling, production, choice of materials and additional functions should help to set yourself apart from the competition.
In the case of the Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 XT Pulse, there are a few important points to note. There is the performance, which is higher than that of the reference version.
The owner of the Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 XT Pulse can take some steam out via the BIOS switch, but we would rather recommend this for cards that are quite loud when pushed to the limit - and this is not the case here. That brings us straight to the next topic: cooling. The Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 XT Pulse can convince here compared to the reference version. Lower temperatures are offered and the two axial fans do their work much more quietly. With the measured 34.8 dB (A), many a CPU cooler or case fan should be louder than the card itself. The Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 XT can collect a big plus here.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT is very suitable for playing modern AAA games in 2,560 × 1,440 (WQHD) with maximum details. 3840 × 2160 is also possible with mostly reduced details, but the performance reserves are quite low for Ultra HD. The smaller "Infinity Cache" also slows down slightly in the high resolution, but primarily the GPU lacks raw performance for so many pixels.
The memory equipment of the graphics card is commendable, because 12 GB is exactly the right capacity that a performance model should currently have. That is enough VRAM for future games and even nowadays an advantage with ray tracing - here models with only 8 GB get into trouble every now and then. The energy efficiency is just as positive. The Radeon RX 6700 XT makes a decent step in FPS per watt compared to its predecessor.

Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
