AMD Ryzen 5 5600X @ 4,60 GHz, Socket AM4, code name Vermeer, cores 6, threads 12, base clock 3.70GHz, turbo clock 4.60GHz, SMT yes, memory controller dual channel PC4-25600U (DDR4-3200), free multiplier yes, CPU functions MMX (+ ), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, SSE4A, x86-64, AMD-V, AES, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, SHA Architecture Zen 3, L2 cache 3MB (6x 512kB), L3 cache 32MB (1x 32MB), chipset interface PCIe 4.0 x4, PCIe lanes 24x PCIe 4.0 (16 + 4 + 4), memory max. 128GB Memory bandwidth 51.2GB / s.
AMD offers the Ryzen 5600X processor, which is particularly interesting for gamers, below the two top models. This is due to the fact that many games still cannot handle more than eight cores, at least not noticeably.
Intel's Core i9-10900K is already sweating in the face of the smallest Zen 3 processor available to date. Even in the multicore-optimized Battlefield 5, the 5600X manages to outperform the competition. Anno 1800 is once again interesting in many ways. So far, only players with an Intel CPU could think of conjuring up larger cities smoothly on the screen. Now it's all the better with a Ryzen 5600X. The eight-core Ryzen 7 5800X shines here with a perfect connection to the L3 cache and can fully exploit its strengths and just behind it the Ryzen 5 5600X sneaks in front of the top models.
With Total War, Death Stranding and SOTTR, there are only three games in the test in which a Core i9-10900K can still assert itself. Intel then sees no more land against AMD's new eight-core, the 5800X trumps all Intel CPUs. Exceptions are games that scale very well with cores, for example the great Red Dead Redemption 2 or Battlefield 5.
The Hexacore Ryzen 5 5600X is used by those who "only" play and still do not want to forego the very high Zen 3 performance.
Cooler Masters MasterAir G100M is not just a flat top blow cooler for SFF systems. No, the UFO cooler with integrated RGB lighting is also an eye-catcher. And thanks to the massive heat column in the center, it is also interesting from a technical point of view. A new structure with a central heat column should deliver the decisive increase in performance. This means that the MasterAir G100M can be used on processors with a TDP of up to 130 watts. It is very clear, however, that the MasterAir G100M is also about optics. The completely circular cooler is strongly reminiscent of a UFO. It looks even more spacey when the integrated RGB lighting is activated.
Once again, Cooler Masters RGB lighting is very convincing. This is not only due to the successful integration of the RGB LEDs, but also to the control options. Cooler Master gives the user the choice: he can either control the lighting directly via the included controller. Or he uses the RGB software from one of the major mainboard manufacturers.
Aspects of the Cooler Master MasterAir G100M:
Effective RGB lighting, controllable via the included controller or the RGB software from various mainboard manufacturers
low overall height, so it can also be used for SFF systems
discreet volume at reduced speed
MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus, form factor ATX, chipset AMD X570, RAM 4x DDR4 DIMM, dual PC4-35200U / DDR4-4400 (OC), max. 128GB (UDIMM), expansion slots 2x PCIe 4.0 x16, 3x PCIe 3.0 x1, 1x M.2 / M-Key (PCIe 4.0 x4, 22110/2280/2260/2242), 1x M.2 / M- Key (PCIe 3.0 x4 / SATA, 2280/2260/2242), external connections 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x USB-C 3.1 (CPU), 1x USB-A 3.1 (CPU), 4x USB-A 3.0, 2x USB -A 2.0, 1x Gb LAN (Realtek RTL8111H), 5x jack, 1x Toslink, 1x PS / 2 combo, buttons / switches USB BIOS Flashback (external), audio 7.1, RAID level 0/1/10 (X570 ), Multi-GPU AMD 2-Way CrossFireX, lighting red, 1 zone (accent center), special features AMD X570 with fan, audio + solid capacitors, Diagnostic LED (LED indicators), 1x M.2 passive cooler.
The AMD X570 high-end chipset supports AMD's Ryzen 3000 processors (code name: Matisse) and their complete feature set, especially the PCI Express standard in version 4.0 (PCIe 4.0). PCIe 4.0 is backward compatible and can be used with all expansion cards from previous generations. A data transfer rate that is twice as high as that of PCIe 3.0 is possible per PCIe 4.0 lane, so that an NVMe SSD connected via four PCIe 4.0 lanes can achieve a theoretical read / write speed of up to 7.8 GB / s. Each mainboard with the X570 chipset is also suitable for all other AMD CPU series for the AM4 socket.
The MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus in detail:
A PCIe 4.0 slot in x16 format is available for graphics cards, which is directly connected to the Ryzen 3000 processor via a total of 16 PCIe 4.0 lanes. Another PCIe-x16 slot is connected to the chipset via 4 lanes (PCIe 4.0 for Ryzen 3000; PCIe 3.0 for all previous generations). There are also three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots available for plug-in and expansion cards, two of which can be used simultaneously.
The Ryzen 3000 CPUs provide four PCIe 4.0 lanes for the direct connection of NVMe SSDs. With this X570 mainboard, these four lanes are used to connect a single M.2 slot for NVMe SSDs. In addition to another M.2 slot with x4 connection, the S5-6 chipset also provides six SATA 6G connections.
Faster connections thanks to PCI-Express 4.0
On the I / O panel, the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus offers two USB 3.1 ports, one with Type C and one with Type A socket. USB 3.1 or USB 3.1 Gen 2 achieves maximum speeds of 10 Gbit / s per port and USB ports with this standard generally support the quick charging function of smartphones and tablets, while the new USB Type-C port is particularly thin and can be inserted on both sides. There is also an HDMI 1.4 connection for AMD CPUs with integrated Vega graphics.
There is also a 1 Gigabit LAN port (Realtek 8111H), on-board sound (Realtek ALC1220 audio codec), an enhanced PCIe slot and numerous internal headers. Also on Bo (a) rd are an optimized power supply, a CMOS jumper, a BIOS flashback button and support for RAM kits up to 128 GB.
RGB LED components can be connected and controlled via two 4-pin RGB headers (12V) and two digitally addressable 3-pin RGB headers (5V), provided they are compatible with the RGB software of the mainboard.

FTX-1200-1 Forza 1200W ATX 2.4, fan 120mm, volume 19-22dB (A), cable management fully modular, connections 1x 20/24 pin, 2x 4/8 pin ATX12V, 8x 6/8 pin PCIe , 12x SATA, 4x IDE, 1x floppy, average efficiency 92%, certificates 80 PLUS Platinum, manufacturer's guarantee ten years, number of 12V rails 1, + 3.3V, 20A + 5V, 20A + 12V 98A-12V 0.3A + 5Vsb 3A PFC active form factor ATX PS / 2 special features ErP Lot 6.
The power supply has the 80Plus Platinum certification and must therefore have an efficiency of at least 90, 94 and 91 percent at 20, 50 and 100 percent load. The housing structure differs somewhat from the usual design. The top cover, under which the fan is located, consists of a U-shape that has been perforated at the top and at one end. This "U" is not simply bent by 90 degrees on the front sides, but finely rounded without any edges. The cutouts with the connections are located on the opposite end. On the underside is the base plate on which the power supply is attached. The two sides are made of aluminum sheets, the edges of which have been completely beveled and polished. This means that there is not a single 90-degree edge on this power donor, only fine curves.
In summary, a visually elegant and high-quality design. In addition, there is a full cable management and a single powerful 12 volt rail that can be loaded up to a maximum of 98 amps.
The power supply is cooled by a 120mm fan via a temperature control. The built-in fan was barely noticeable during our test run. Regarding the fan volume, it should be noted that, as with all fans with temperature control, it is difficult to quantify the effective volume in "normal operation", at least without complex measuring methods in air-conditioned and anechoic rooms. The fan was barely audible even under full load and overload.
SAMSUNG SSD PM9A1 256GB, M.2, design Solid State Module (SSM), form factor M.2 2280, interface M.2 / M-Key (PCIe 4.0 x4), read 6400MB / s, write 2700MB / s SLC-Cached, IOPS 4K read / write 500k / 600k, memory modules 3D-NAND TLC, Samsung, 136 layers (V-NAND v6), reliability prognosis 1.5 million hours (MTBF) controller Samsung Elpis (S4LV003), 8 Channels, cache 512MB (LPDDR4), SLC cache, protocol NVMe 1.3c, data protection functions 256bit AES, TCG Opal 2.0, power consumption 0.035W (idle), 0.005W (sleep mode), special features L1.2 low-power standby.
The Samsung OEM SSD PM9A1 is made entirely of semiconductor components and uses NAND flash memory, which has high reliability and advanced technology in a small form factor. Thanks to the support of the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 4.0 interface standard, performance is much faster than that of SATA SSDs. A comparison of the speed makes it clear that the PM9A1 version is definitely ahead. In contrast to the 6,000 MB / s, the two previous models only offered 3,500 MB / s. This is no wonder. After all, both OEMs were equipped with PCIe 3.0 and not the latest PCIe 4.0 standard.
The Samsung PM9A1 is an M.2 SSD with PCIe 4.0 and practically the OEM counterpart to the 980 Pro.

Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
