A new era of quality
The Kolink Unity Adapt is the first model in the Kolink series that offers the option of completely replacing the design of the front panel in order to give the user more options for individual design. Several panels are available separately: the Kolink Unity Adapt Meridian, the Kolink Unity Adapt Skyscape, and the Kolink Unity Adapt Quasar. More will be added over time. Each panel is compatible with the addressable RGB lighting of the housing and offers an attractive result no matter which one is used.
In addition to the addressable RGB lighting on the front, the Kolink Unity Adapt also has a Kolink Umbra Void 120 mm ARGB PWM fan on the rear and a Kolink Classic 120 mm PWM fan on the front. Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
