The Dawn TG is an elegant midi tower with numerous innovative features from the BitFenix case forge. Behind the coated tempered glass front is a mesh with a unique pattern that extends to the right side. The digitally addressable RGB lighting behind it emits light reminiscent of a sunrise shining through a window. The left side stripe with large air inlets ensures good airflow. The top has a large honeycomb mesh with a magnetic dust filter under which a 240 radiator has space. Alternatively, the dust filter can be replaced with a solid cover.
BitFenix includes three quiet 120 mm fans with the case. The fan on the back comes from the in-house Specter series and is equipped with RGB lighting, which bathes the interior, which can be seen through the two tempered glass side panels, in a suitable light. In addition, the case can convince with enough space even for E-ATX mainboards and space for perfect cable management. The highlight, however, is the possibility of installing the graphics card vertically, which can also be up to 380 millimeters long.

From the outside, the case impresses with tempered glass on both sides and front.
Bitfenix has again implemented an innovation here, the tempered glass panes are provided with a protective film that is also used in the automotive industry. In the event of a break, for example, it prevents the glass from shattering and should never be removed. At the same time, the particularly clear glass remains extremely translucent and lets the RGB LED components shine through in all their glory. With a compatible mainboard, the RGB LEDs on the front, but also the lighting of the rear RGB LED fan, can be easily configured via software and synchronized with other RGB components in complex lighting effects. Alternatively, the integrated controller is available, which in turn is controlled via a switch on the I/O panel.
Inside, the spacious midi tower can accommodate mainboards from Mini-ITX to E-ATX format. Two 3.5 or 2.5 inch drives can be accommodated under the power supply cover thanks to the brackets supplied, while four additional 2.5 inch data carriers disappear behind the mainboard tray. Hardware and cooling components are presented behind the left viewing window in a particularly clean look, also thanks to the power supply cover, under which the power supply and cable clutter are invisible. Behind the mainboard tray there is 28 millimeters of space for the cables.

The case is equipped with a 120 millimeter RGB fan on the back, while two fans without lighting in the front ensure a cooling air flow. In addition, two 120 mm fans can be installed in the lid and a total of three in the front. Another can be attached to the floor behind the power supply. Two 140 millimeter models are also possible in the front or on the lid. The ventilation openings in the front, bottom and lid are all equipped with dust filters that can be removed without tools.
In the front, the Bitfenix Dawn TG can accommodate radiators in 240, even 360 or 280 millimeter format with a depth of 35 millimeters and a width of 141 millimeters. Part of the PSU shroud can be removed for large radiators. There is space for another radiator up to a size of 280 millimeters on the lid, and the pre-installed fan can be replaced with a 120 mm radiator on the back. CPU coolers can be up to 16.5 centimeters high and powerful graphics cards fit up to a length of 38 centimeters in the interior. The rear PCI bracket with seven horizontal slots can be replaced with an enclosed bracket with four vertical slots.

The features of the Jonsbo CR-2000 GT CPU cooler in detail
Jonsbo describes the largest cooler in the series as the CR 2000 GT. The model lets its six heat pipes end in two fin towers and is equipped with two 120 mm fans (700 to 1,500 rpm), which generate a very low background noise of a maximum of 29.5 db(A) with a displacement of 106, 7 m³/h and ARGB LEDs. An ARGB controller is included. The CR 2000 GT is the only cooler in the series that can also be installed from the front of the mainboard.

In this generation, the Axial-Tech fan design has been improved with an increased number of blades on all three fans: 13 on the main fan and 11 on the auxiliary fans. The main fan's additional blades and full shroud provide increased static pressure to push air directly onto the GPU heat spreader. The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:

The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Windows start
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
System performance
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
3D performance
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
