AMD Ryzen 5 5600X @ 4,60 GHz, Socket AM4, code name Vermeer, cores 6, threads 12, base clock 3.70GHz, turbo clock 4.60GHz, SMT yes, memory controller dual channel PC4-25600U (DDR4-3200), free multiplier yes, CPU functions MMX (+ ), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, SSE4A, x86-64, AMD-V, AES, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, SHA Architecture Zen 3, L2 cache 3MB (6x 512kB), L3 cache 32MB (1x 32MB), chipset interface PCIe 4.0 x4, PCIe lanes 24x PCIe 4.0 (16 + 4 + 4), memory max. 128GB Memory bandwidth 51.2GB / s.
AMD offers the Ryzen 5600X processor, which is particularly interesting for gamers, below the two top models. This is due to the fact that many games still cannot handle more than eight cores, at least not noticeably.
Intel's Core i9-10900K is already sweating in the face of the smallest Zen 3 processor available to date. Even in the multicore-optimized Battlefield 5, the 5600X manages to outperform the competition. Anno 1800 is once again interesting in many ways. So far, only players with an Intel CPU could think of conjuring up larger cities smoothly on the screen. Now it's all the better with a Ryzen 5600X. The eight-core Ryzen 7 5800X shines here with a perfect connection to the L3 cache and can fully exploit its strengths and just behind it the Ryzen 5 5600X sneaks in front of the top models.
With Total War, Death Stranding and SOTTR, there are only three games in the test in which a Core i9-10900K can still assert itself. Intel then sees no more land against AMD's new eight-core, the 5800X trumps all Intel CPUs. Exceptions are games that scale very well with cores, for example the great Red Dead Redemption 2 or Battlefield 5.
The Hexacore Ryzen 5 5600X is used by those who "only" play and still do not want to forego the very high Zen 3 performance.
AMD Wraith CPU cooler. We've gone one better with a brand-new premium line of AMD Wraith Coolers for the AM4 platform and the advanced Ryzen processor. From the shallow Wraith Stealth to the high-end Wraith Prism, every Wraith Cooler offers virtually silent operation and excellent cooling performance. Plus, every 2nd and 3rd generation Ryzen 7 and 9 desktop processor features an AMD Wraith Cooler with color-configurable LED lighting, which makes your PC not only powerful, but also looks great. RGB colour control is available when using a compatible motherboard such as ASRock RGB LED, ASUS Aura sync, Biostar VIVID LED DJ, Gigabyte RGB Fusion or MSI Mystic Hell. Note: Not every AMD Wraith Cooler is equipped with user-controlled RGB lighting.
While Tower coolers create a stream of air parallel to the motherboard, which starts a few inches above it, Top Down blows directly onto the motherboard, where the air then spreads in all directions. Since modern mainboards do not require active cooling and case fans are usually mounted higher, this is the only airflow that can cool onboard components in the CPU environment - and tower coolers eliminate this effect, according to popular opinion.
Critical components are clearly the CPU voltage converter on the motherboard. These circuits reduce the 12 volts coming from the power supply to the desired supply voltage of the processor and, like all electrical components, operate with limited efficiency. Accurate measurements are very expensive, but typically there is a 15 to 30 percent greater current flow to the transducers than they are to the CPU - the rest is converted to heat at the voltage transformers.
The AMD Wraith Prism is the ultimate cooling solution from AMD for processors with air cooling. The Wraith Prism offers more than any cooling solution before: an RGB LED control around the light ring, transparent fan blades and colour control with dynamic rainbow effects. But the Wraith Prism is not only outwardly appealing. It also increased motherboard and RAM compatibility.
Note: the fans of the AMD Ryzen 3 and 5 series are not illuminated.

This card is a safe bet, especially at lower resolutions up to WQHD, even if the lag to the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is a bit more pronounced than expected. In some situations you will have to lift one or the other quality regulator in WQHD, but only if you need extremely high FPS numbers and the game does not support DLSS 2.0. It only gets a bit tighter in higher resolutions, but NVIDIA doesn't advertise the card for the high resolutions either.
DLSS in particular has never been as valuable for this combat dwarf as it is today, because if you focus more on performance and dampen the other settings a bit and do without the DXR effects completely, you can even use Ultra HD in the appropriate games swim with the river. Otherwise, DLSS also allows DXR in Full HD, which was probably the intention.
The GeForce RTX 3060 is an inexpensive 1440p gaming card and it fulfills this requirement with flying colors. Even current titles are displayed with sufficient FPS (of course, depending on the selected resolution). If you need 144 Hz in FullHD, you will also be happy with a GeForce RTX 3060 in most games.

Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
