INTEL Core i7-11700, clock frequency @ 4.9 GHz Socket 1200, code name Rocket Lake-S, cores 8 threads 16, base clock 2.50GHz turbo clock 4.90GHz, SMT yes (Intel Hyper-Threading), memory controller Dual Channel PC4-25600U (DDR4 -3200), CPU functions DL Boost, Turbo Boost Max 3.0 (4.90GHz), Turbo Boost 2.0 (4.80GHz), vPro, Hyper-Threading, VT-x, VT-d, VT-x EPT, Intel 64, SSE4 .1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, AVX-512, Idle States, EIST, Thermal Monitoring, IPT, SIPP, GNA 2.0, AES-NI, Secure Key, OS Guard, TXT, XD Bit, Boot Guard, Cypress architecture Cove, L2 cache 4MB (8x 512kB), L3 cache 16MB, chipset interface DMI 3.0, 8GT / s (PCIe 3.0 x8), PCIe lanes 20x PCIe 4.0, memory max.128GB, memory bandwidth 50GB / s.
The Core i7-11700 offers eight physical cores and can process up to 16 threads simultaneously thanks to SMT (Hyper-Threading) support. The base clock is 2.5 GHz, the highest turbo clock frequency in single-threading load increases to 4.9 GHz. As a new highlight, the Core i7-11700 also has 20 PCIe 4.0 lanes, 16 of which are primarily intended for the graphics card and the remaining four lanes for a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD.
In terms of single-threaded and IPC performance, the Cypress Cove architecture is a significant step forward - especially compared to what we have seen over and over again in recent years with the numerous Skylake reissues. We are actually talking about + 20% IPC performance, which Intel brings back to the level of AMD's Zen 3 architecture in this regard. Intel can exploit this primarily in applications in which only a few cores are used. Above all, however, Intel is clearly targeting gamers as buyers of its new processors. If we look at the corresponding benchmarks, we can actually say that Intel has once again put the player's crown on the table. But the truth is also that you don't clearly beat AMD with the Ryzen 5000 processors, but the gaps here are so small that you can speak of a tie. Gamers who choose an output resolution of 1080p and higher and a corresponding level of detail are limited by the GPU performance of both AMD and Intel.
SILENTIUMPC Spartan 4 Max Evo ARGB. SilentiumPC offers the Spartan 4 CPU cooler in four versions. RGB lighting is also reserved for certain versions. The Spartan 4 MAX is not only a bit bigger, but above all, it is more powerful. In addition, the number of heat pipes increases. In addition, the lamellar body and thus the height of the radiator grow to a still low 143 millimeters. At the same time, the fan is being replaced by a 120 mm version that can be operated between 250 and 1,500 rpm. This enables a TDP of 150 watts to be cooled.
Spartan 4 Max Evo ARGB is offered with an illuminated ARGB fan, in which each individual LED can be controlled separately. Not only the fan blades but also the fan frame are illuminated. The speed range remains the same compared to the non-illuminated fans of the standard models. The lighting can be controlled via a suitable mainboard or a suitable controller. If both are missing, an auto-LED function can at least start the rainbow effect.

MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming X 8G LHR, connections 1x HDMI 2.1, 3x DisplayPort 1.4a, chip GA104-202-A1 "Ampere", 38SM, 392mm², chip clock 1410MHz, Boost: 1770MHz, memory 8GB GDDR6, 1750MHz, 14Gbps (14000MHz effective), 256bit, 448GB / s, shader units / TMUs / ROPs, 4864/152/80, cooling 2x axial fans (100mm), special features real-time ray tracing, ray tracing cores (38), tensor cores (152), NVIDIA G-Sync, NVIDIA VR-Ready, AV1 Decode, HDCP 2.3, 0dB zero fan mode, backplate , LED lighting (RGB), boost clock overclocked (+ 105MHz), PCIe 4.0 x16 interface, computing power 17.22 TFLOPS (FP32), 269 GFLOPS (FP64), DirectX 12 Ultimate (12_2) OpenGL 4.6, OpenCL 3.0, Vulkan 1.2, Shader model 6.6.
The difference in performance between GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 is 15 percent in classic rasterizer titles, which means that the new graphics card is still 5 percent faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Super. This makes the graphics card well suited for gaming in 2560 × 1440 with mostly high details that only occasionally have to be reduced to 60 FPS. If ray tracing is used, the 3060 Ti and 3070 move closer together, the GeForce RTX 2080 falls further behind. This also applies to apps. For ray tracing with DLSS in games, the performance in WQHD is just as sufficient, without DLSS, on the other hand, you often have to switch to Full HD. The energy efficiency is good with reference clock rates and TDP. The graphics card delivers almost as many FPS per watt as the GeForce RTX 3070 and is thus also way ahead in this discipline.
Technically, there is only one thing to complain about on the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti: 8 GB is enough for most current games with full texture details, but in the future or when using ray tracing, it could possibly become scarce. When it will be so far, however, is not foreseeable.

SAMSUNG SSD PM9A1 256GB, M.2, design Solid State Module (SSM), form factor M.2 2280, interface M.2 / M-Key (PCIe 4.0 x4), read 6400MB / s, write 2700MB / s SLC-Cached, IOPS 4K read / write 500k / 600k, memory modules 3D-NAND TLC, Samsung, 136 layers (V-NAND v6), reliability prognosis 1.5 million hours (MTBF) controller Samsung Elpis (S4LV003), 8 Channels, cache 512MB (LPDDR4), SLC cache, protocol NVMe 1.3c, data protection functions 256bit AES, TCG Opal 2.0, power consumption 0.035W (idle), 0.005W (sleep mode), special features L1.2 low-power standby.
The Samsung OEM SSD PM9A1 is made entirely of semiconductor components and uses NAND flash memory, which has high reliability and advanced technology in a small form factor. Thanks to the support of the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 4.0 interface standard, performance is much faster than that of SATA SSDs. A comparison of the speed makes it clear that the PM9A1 version is definitely ahead. In contrast to the 6,000 MB / s, the two previous models only offered 3,500 MB / s. This is no wonder. After all, both OEMs were equipped with PCIe 3.0 and not the latest PCIe 4.0 standard.
The Samsung PM9A1 is an M.2 SSD with PCIe 4.0 and practically the OEM counterpart to the 980 Pro.

Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
