The K11 is characterised by an outstanding design and high build quality. It has a steel frame with a tempered glass panel, so you can display your gaming components. All that, and it's at an affordable price point.
In particular, RGB illumination is a great feature of the K11. The front panel consists of a strong aRGB strip alongside several additional indentations. These are perfectly complemented by the pre-installed rear Umbra ARGB PWM120mm fan. Since these illumination elements are aRGB, they can be controlled directly via the motherboard.
Ample room for hardware
As a Mid-Tower, the K11 has all the room you need for the components necessary to make a powerful build. A full ATX motherboard can be mounted with space for a GPU up to 315mm long and a CPU cooler up to 165mm high.
Cooling is also a priority for the K11. As well as the pre-installed Umbra ARGB PWM 120mm fan, three 120mm fans can be attached at the front, two on top, and another two above the PSU shroud.
Connecting additional fans is straightforward, as it is possible to daisy-chain additional 3-pin 5V devices. Regarding storage, there is capacity for two 3.5″ or 2.5″ drives and also a standard ATX PSU. The I/O panel has two 2.0 and one 3.0 USB ports, as well as an audio in/out jack and power button.

The Intel Core i5-10400F with six cores and Hyper-Threading is the expected big leap compared to its direct predecessor, the performance increases in some cases significantly. Together with its low price, this makes the CPU the most interesting solution in Intel's Comet Lake S portfolio for the LGA 1200 socket.
The leap in performance is most evident in applications. In the best case, this is up to 35 percent more. The new CPU is also faster than its predecessor in games and overtakes AMD's 6-core Zen 2 competitor, which was recently faster than the Intel Core i5-9400F on average. The new Intel Core i5-10400F is on par with the old top model Core i7-8700K. How clear the gain over the Core i5-9400F is depends on the title. If a game addresses more than six or eight threads, the lead can quickly turn into double digits, thanks to Hyper-Threading.

The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:

Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
