An infinity mirror illuminated by RGB LEDs in the front, an RGB LED strip in the power supply tunnel and three 120mm RGB fans make the X-908 Infini2 a real eye-catcher. The front made of tempered glass and the side panel made of 4mm thick tempered glass give a generous insight into strong effects and colors, which can be managed by a switch on the front or via the 5V RGB header connection (addressable RGB LEDs).
The easy-to-reach control panel of the X-908 Infini2 is equipped with HD audio jacks, two USB 3.0 Type A and two further USB 3.0 Type C ports. Two separate switches offer the option of manual fan control in three stages (low, high or stop). The power and reset switches are slightly recessed and thus prevent accidental activation in the dark.
The infinity mirror is set in scene through the tempered glass of the front panel and offers insights into the depths of the optical illusion. Another highlight is the 4mm thick tempered glass side panel, which also highlights the built-in hardware. With the RGB-LED switch on the side, all pre-programmed effects and colors can be switched easily and conveniently. With the 3-pin RGB header connection for 5V RGB mainboard controls and matching mainboard software, all RGB LEDs can also be controlled individually (addressable RGB LEDs).
In the cover of the housing there is a large dust filter that protects the interior of the housing from dust. The dust filter is removed with two simple clicks and can thus be cleaned quickly and easily.
Three standard built-in 120mm RGB-LED fans not only skilfully stage the interior, they also ensure clean and cool air for the built-in components. The Core i7-11700 offers eight physical cores and can process up to 16 threads simultaneously thanks to SMT (Hyper-Threading) support. The base clock is 2.5 GHz, the highest turbo clock frequency in single-threading load increases to 4.9 GHz. As a new highlight, the Core i7-11700 also has 20 PCIe 4.0 lanes, 16 of which are primarily intended for the graphics card and the remaining four lanes for a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD.
In terms of single-threaded and IPC performance, the Cypress Cove architecture is a significant step forward - especially compared to what we have seen over and over again in recent years with the numerous Skylake reissues. We are actually talking about + 20% IPC performance, which Intel brings back to the level of AMD's Zen 3 architecture in this regard. Intel can exploit this primarily in applications in which only a few cores are used. Above all, however, Intel is clearly targeting gamers as buyers of its new processors. If we look at the corresponding benchmarks, we can actually say that Intel has once again put the player's crown on the table. But the truth is also that you don't clearly beat AMD with the Ryzen 5000 processors, but the gaps here are so small that you can speak of a tie. Gamers who choose an output resolution of 1080p and higher and a corresponding level of detail are limited by the GPU performance of both AMD and Intel.

The GeForce RTX 3080 is the first player graphics card with the new amp architecture. The graphics card is based on the GA102 GPU and therefore the largest chip in Nvidia's portfolio. The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
