A new era of quality
The Kolink Unity Adapt is the first model in the Kolink series that offers the option of completely replacing the design of the front panel in order to give the user more options for individual design. Several panels are available separately: the Kolink Unity Adapt Meridian, the Kolink Unity Adapt Skyscape, and the Kolink Unity Adapt Quasar. More will be added over time. Each panel is compatible with the addressable RGB lighting of the housing and offers an attractive result no matter which one is used.
In addition to the addressable RGB lighting on the front, the Kolink Unity Adapt also has a Kolink Umbra Void 120 mm ARGB PWM fan on the rear and a Kolink Classic 120 mm PWM fan on the front. In addition to the pre-installed fans, two additional 120 mm or three 140 mm fans can be installed on the front and three 120/140 mm fans on the lid. If desired, a 140 mm fan can also be installed on the rear. A 420 mm radiator can be attached to the front, a 360 mm radiator to the top and a 120/140 mm radiator to the rear.
The inside of the Kolink Unity Adapt is completely black and equipped with a power supply cover, which contributes to the tidy look. There is space for two 3.5-inch HDDs behind the cover. Alternatively, two 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed here. On the back of the mainboard tray there is also space for two 2.5-inch drives, which can be attached using the removable brackets provided. At the bottom of the case there is a removable dust filter that protects an optional ATX power supply up to 250 mm in length. The Core i7-11700K offers eight physical cores and can process up to 16 threads simultaneously thanks to SMT (Hyper-Threading) support. The base clock is 3.6 GHz, the highest turbo clock frequency in single-threading load increases to 5 GHz. As a new highlight, the Core i7-11700K also has 20 PCIe 4.0 lanes, 16 of which are primarily intended for the graphics card and the remaining four lanes for a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD.
With eight cores, but without velocity and adaptive boost, the Octacore still clocks with 4.6 GHz all-core and 5.0 GHz single-core. This is 100 MHz lower than the previous Core i7-10700K. Compared to the i9-11900K, there are not only cuts in the clock frequency, according to the Intel specification in Gear 1 mode, the memory controller can only clock with a maximum of DDR4-2933 MHz, with Gear 2 up to DDR4-3200 is possible. In terms of single-threaded and IPC performance, the Cypress Cove architecture is a significant step forward - especially compared to what we have seen over and over again in recent years with the numerous Skylake reissues. But the truth is also that you don't clearly beat AMD with the Ryzen 5000 processors, but the gaps here are so small that you can speak of a tie. Gamers who choose an output resolution of 1080p and higher and a corresponding level of detail are limited by the GPU performance of both AMD and Intel.

The features of the Jonsbo CR-2000 GT CPU cooler in detail
Jonsbo describes the largest cooler in the series as the CR 2000 GT. The model lets its six heat pipes end in two fin towers and is equipped with two 120 mm fans (700 to 1,500 rpm), which generate a very low background noise of a maximum of 29.5 db(A) with a displacement of 106, 7 m³/h and ARGB LEDs. An ARGB controller is included. The CR 2000 GT is the only cooler in the series that can also be installed from the front of the mainboard.

The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:

Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
