The appearance of the MSI MPG Gungnir 110R has been significantly upgraded. Half of the front is made of glass and reveals three front fans with A-RGB lighting. The fourth A-RGB fan on the rear wall can be seen through the glass side panel. If, on the other hand, you want the most unhindered airflow possible, the MPG Gungnir 110M has a front with a large mesh insert. This variant is also delivered with three illuminated front fans.
The case is clearly a gaming case. However, it does without design exaggerations and shows itself in a clear and consistently implemented design. The main feature is the front, which tapers towards the front and is half transparent and half opaque. The four pre-assembled A-RGB fans ensure harmonious lighting on both the front and the rear wall. And lighting control is possible both directly via the LED button and via a suitable mainboard.
In everyday use, the four case fans can be turned down so that they are pleasantly quiet. As an alternative to air cooling, water cooling is also possible - right up to a slim 360 mm front radiator and a 240 mm lid radiator. The space in the interior is also sufficient for tall tower coolers. Overall, the MPG Gungnir 110R presents itself not only as an eye-catching, but also as a largely practical A-RGB housing.
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 4.80GHz, Socket AM4, code name Vermeer, TDP 105W, cores 12, threads 24, base clock 3.70GHz, turbo clock 4.80GHz, memory controller Dual Channel PC4-25600U (DDR4-3200), free multiplier yes, CPU- Functions VT-Vi, X86-64, AMD-V, AVX, AVX2, AES (2x FMA), NX-Bit, EVP, Architecture Zen 3, production 7nm (CPU, TSMC), 12nm (I / O, GlobalFoundries), L2 cache 6MB (12x 512kB), L3 cache 64MB (2x 32MB), chipset interface PCIe 4.0 x4, PCIe lanes 24x PCIe 4.0 (16 + 4 + 4), memory bandwidth 51.2GB / s.
19 percent more performance per cycle, an average of 26 percent more 3D performance and up to 24 percent more efficiency. AMD wants to make Intel look old. Thanks to the extensively improved Zen 3 architecture, multi and single threading performance should increase by 20 percent and more, while the core counts of 16, 12, 8 and 6 remain the same.
At a higher level, a CPU cluster (CCX) now consists of eight instead of four CPU cores. A single core can thus access a full 32 MByte level 3 cache in single-threading applications; In addition, the communication effort is reduced if an application uses more than four cores. 3D games also benefit from this.
On average, the performance per cycle (Instructions per Cycle, IPC) should increase by 19 percent - more than when switching from Zen + to Zen 2 (+ 15 percent). In games, AMD mentions an average increase of 26 percent. While Intel's Core-i-10000 processors were usually a bit faster than AMD's Ryzen 3000 in gaming, AMD wants to deliver the best player CPUs with the successors. Only in the rarest cases should the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X deliver fewer frames per second than Intel's fastest gaming processor, the Core i9-10900K, such as Battlefield 5. In the esports games League of Legends (LoL) and Counter- Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO), which used to do particularly well to Intel, AMD wants to outpace the competition.

Quiet and powerful pump with 3-phase motor
Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal compound
Pre-filled and completely maintenance-free
WingBoost 3 ARGB premium fan
Interchangeable logo plates
Safe mounting system
The diamond-cut copper base plate of the pump unit has large micro-channels to quickly and efficiently dissipate the processor's waste heat to the cooling circuit. 1200 rpm to 2550 rpm offer an extremely balanced range of performance to provide the necessary resources for your use in every situation. Decide for yourself whether you want maximum overclocking or subjectively silent silence in your silent project. An intelligent cooling circuit in the two-chamber design inside the pump housing also reduces the background noise of the pump unit and increases the cooling capacity and service life compared to conventional designs. The pump housing and pump cover are elaborately finished with piano lacquer after the injection molding process.
Gletscherwasser relies on a high-performance aluminum radiator. For even more security in your system, this radiator has a "leak-free" design. In the very unlikely event of a leak in the cooling system, the pressure in the cooling circuit is automatically regulated, which prevents possible coolant leakage. So your hardware is always SAFE.
With its excellent thermal conductivity, the Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut can also be used for overclocking. It was specially developed for use with large-area heat sinks, which are used, for example, in water cooling systems. Advantages: No hardening, silicone-free and not electrically conductive.
Wing Boost 3 ARGB
With 16.8 million colors, the Wing Boost 3 ARGB offers numerous options for uniquely staging the case. The addressable RGB LED lighting is integrated in the fan frame and casts a light glow on the impeller and shines stylishly to the outside.
Airflow optimized fan blades
With a new angle of attack for the fan blades, the rotor has been optimized for low speeds in order to achieve a significantly higher volume flow, total pressure and outlet speed at the same speed compared to other fans. Thanks to the Wing Boost 3 technology, air turbulence on the impeller is greatly reduced to ensure even quieter operation at full speed.
IC engine control
High-quality IC motor control minimizes electrical noise, especially in the low speed range, to a minimum.
Fluid Dynamic Bearing
By using the fluid dynamic bearing, we can realize low-vibration and whisper-quiet operation of the fan.
PWM speed control
The new Wing Boost 3 supports speed control using the PWM signal from the mainboard.
De vibration pads
Thanks to their excellent anti-vibration properties, the de-vibration pads reduce the often annoying noises that are transmitted to the housing by the vibrations of the fan to a minimum.

ASUS has now renamed the formerly independent TUF series (The Ultimate Force) to "TUF Gaming" and has been the entry point into the ASUS gaming world ever since. The ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) is characterized by the colors black, gray and a little yellow. The I/O panel and the PCH fan are encased in a plastic cover. Fortunately, a passive cooler is pre-installed for the lower M.2 connection.
With the X570-FCH, AMD is taking a big step forward compared to the X370 and X470-FCH, because the X570-FCH is the first chipset to establish the PCI Express 4.0 feature in the desktop segment. At the same time, the number of lanes increases from 8 to 16, of which 12 can be flexibly distributed by the mainboard manufacturer. The CPU and chipset are connected via a downlink and uplink with PCIe 4.0 x4 (Ryzen 3000).
The adjustable RGB lighting on the lower right side provides visual accents. With the TUF Gaming X570-Plus Gaming, manufacturer ASUS relies on high-quality materials and clean manufacturing. The engineers paid special attention to the capacitors, which had to go through a strict quality test. In general, the layout of the board is well thought out.
ASUS installs four DIMM sockets (dual channel) on the mainboard. With current 32 GB memory kits, you could create a more than sufficient memory expansion to 128 GB (max. 3,200 MHz, 4,400 MHZ in the OC). In order to be able to avoid the problem of possible overheating, the manufacturer installs two passive heat sinks (voltage converters) and an active chipset cooler (fan) at the factory. ASUS has given the board a digital power supply that can access 6+2 phases (6 phases for the CPU; 2 phases for the memory). With the new X570 boards, ASUS advertises the so-called SafeSlot, which the manufacturer describes as a particularly hard-wearing version of a PCIe slot with metal reinforcement. This should offer potential advantages when using heavy high-end graphics cards.
Positive characteristics of the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi):
very good performance with a sufficient CPU power supply
Sufficient equipment, including eight SATA 6GBit/s interfaces and three USB 3.1 Gen2 sockets
good overall performance, good stability and good energy efficiency when idle
two M.2 M-Key interfaces (PCIe 4.0 x4)
WLAN-ac up to 1.73 GBit/s and Bluetooth 5.0 for the Wi-Fi version
Negative characteristics of the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi):

The TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6950 XT is a tough beast with a durable metal chassis, super-efficient cooling and components that offer enhanced endurance. An all-metal case houses three powerful Axial-Tech fans, which are equipped with durable double ball bearings and additional blades. Underneath the exoskeleton, a massive heatsink ensures temperatures remain tightly controlled. TUF components, selected for maximum durability and performance, allow the card to outperform the competition. You wanted an absolute machine...this one is ready for action.
In this generation, the Axial-Tech fan design has been improved with an increased number of blades on all three fans: 13 on the main fan and 11 on the auxiliary fans. The retaining rings on the side fans have been slimmed down to allow more lateral air intake and provide better airflow through the cooling system. The main fan's additional blades and full shroud provide increased static pressure to push air directly onto the GPU heat spreader. The larger fan design has been specifically optimized for a massive new heatsink that has more cooling fins and a larger surface area than previous versions. In order to strengthen the specialized tasks of the main and auxiliary fans, the direction of rotation of the main fan has been reversed. This reduces the air turbulence inside the cooling system, which further increases the overall thermal performance. The fans also only start spinning when the GPU temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius. When the temperature drops below 55 degrees Celsius, they turn off to reduce noise when idling or under light loads.
Heavy-duty, military-grade capacitors were chosen to power the card. These and other components are soldered to the board using our automated Auto-Extreme manufacturing process. Precise soldering and the absence of human error ensure that every graphics card meets our strict quality requirements. To ensure flawless performance when it matters most, the cards undergo a rigorous 144-hour validation process.
The bottom of the map reveals further improvements. Most of the rear is covered by a protective metal backplate that features a prominent, large vent. The vent allows warm air to flow toward the case fans instead of being recirculated back into the GPU cooler. A GPU mount provides additional stability at the critical connection between chip and heatspreader. The connector panel uses stainless steel to protect the connectors and ensure a more secure attachment. And with a user-friendly dual bios switch, the card's default performance profile can be adjusted without software.
ASUS GPU Tweak II utility takes graphics card tuning to the next level. It allows you to tweak critical parameters like GPU core clock, memory frequency, and voltage settings, with the ability to monitor everything in real-time through a customizable on-screen display. Advanced fan control is also included, along with many other features to help you get the most out of your graphics card

SAMSUNG SSD PM9A1 1TB, M.2, design Solid State Module (SSM), form factor M.2 2280, interface M.2 / M-Key (PCIe 4.0 x4), read 7000MB / s, write 5100MB / s SLC-Cached IOPS 4K read / write 1000k / 850k, memory modules 3D-NAND TLC, Samsung, 136 layers (V-NAND v6), reliability prognosis 1.5 million hours (MTBF), Samsung Elpis (S4LV003) controller, 8 channels, 1GB cache (LPDDR4), SLC cache, NVMe 1.3c protocol, data protection functions 256bit AES, TCG Opal 2.0, power consumption 0.035W (idle), 0.005W (sleep mode), special features L1.2 low-power standby.
The Samsung OEM SSD PM9A1 is made entirely of semiconductor components and uses NAND flash memory, which has high reliability and advanced technology in a small form factor. Thanks to the support of the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 4.0 interface standard, performance is much faster than that of SATA SSDs. A comparison of the speed makes it clear that the PM9A1 version is definitely ahead. In contrast to the 6,000 MB / s, the two previous models only offered 3,500 MB / s. This is no wonder. After all, both OEMs were equipped with PCIe 3.0 and not the latest PCIe 4.0 standard.
The Samsung PM9A1 is an M.2 SSD with PCIe 4.0 and practically the OEM counterpart to the 980 Pro.
TOSHIBA P300 Desktop PC 4TB, SATA 6Gb / s, form factor 3.5 ", speed 5400rpm, cache 128MB, power consumption 4.11W (operation), 2.32W (idle), volume 24dB (A) (operation), 22dB (A) (idle) Recording method Shingled Magnetic Recording (SMR), Drive Managed SMR sectors 4KB with emulation (512e).
As an HDD, the Toshiba P300 can of course not keep up with the performance of an SSD, but at least it costs only a fraction of correspondingly large SSDs such as the Samsung 960 Pro. In comparison with its HDD counterparts, the transfer rates of the P300 are still good. The hard drive achieved a read rate of 198 MB / s in the test. The same can be said about the writing speed of the P300. In the test, our test files are written to the large memory at a rate of 195 Mbyte / s - the access time is a good 6.88 milliseconds. At least among the 4TB models, we have measured the best results with the P300 so far.
With a great price-performance ratio, the Toshiba P300 with a capacity of four terabytes is aimed at PC users with large amounts of data and a tight budget. Despite the low price, the hard drive does well in the test and can convince with transfer rates of almost 200 MB per second.

Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.
