Jonsbo MOD5: design and functionality combined
A total of nine 120 mm fans can be installed in the Jonsbo MOD5: three fans on the front, two on the lid, three on the bottom and one on the rear of the Big Tower. A maximum height of 180 mm is provided for processor coolers, so that there are no restrictions when choosing a CPU cooler.
The Jonsbo MOD5 shows its real strengths when it comes to water cooling. Up to 360 mm large triple radiators can be mounted on the front and on the floor and a 240 mm large dual radiator on the lid. This makes the MOD5 suitable for complex custom loops that are able to cool heavily overclocked high-end hardware.
Main boards in mini-ITX, micro-ATX, ATX or E-ATX format (up to 287 mm) can be attached to the mainboard tray. With a maximum length of 400 millimeters, there is also plenty of space for graphics cards. The Jonsbo MOD5 offers a total of seven expansion slots.
The ATX power supply unit is installed in the floor of the Jonsbo MOD5 and can be up to 220 mm long. There is space for two 3.5 / 2.5-inch drives on the back of the mainboard tray. Another drive with 3.5 or 2.5 inches can be mounted on the carrier for the pump unit and the expansion tank at the bottom of the housing, if this is not needed for Wakü components. Instead of the 240 mm radiator, a 3.5-inch drive can also be mounted on the cover.

One should not take a cursory look at the technical data of the new Rocket Lake-S processors. Despite the 14nm manufacturing process, a lot has happened under the heatspreader. Comet Lake-S shows that Intel is still squeezing a lot of potential out of the silicon with the new architecture.
The old Skylake architecture has now had its day and will be replaced by Sunny Cove, but the performance of the new Intel generation is still remarkable. When comparing the microarchitectures it becomes clear that there is now a slightly larger L2 cache. Each calculation kernel has become a bit larger in terms of the die area. The familiar naming scheme is retained. There are therefore also variants without an iGPU or without a freely selectable multiplier.
The current generation of Rocket Lake remains true to the 1200 socket. Nevertheless, there is a new high-end platform for the new processors with the Z590 chipset. The new chips can also be operated on the 400 series motherboards via a BIOS update. The extent to which the new features are then all supported is up to the respective on-board partner. If you want to be on the safe side, you should choose a current board, then there is certainly PCI-E 4.0 support with a maximum of 20 lanes.
With Rocket Lake-S, Intel tries to close the gap to AMD. Sometimes they succeed and in many places the new processors are on par with AMD.

The Samsung OEM SSD PM9A1 is made entirely of semiconductor components and uses NAND flash memory, which has high reliability and advanced technology in a small form factor. As an HDD, the Toshiba P300 can of course not keep up with the performance of an SSD, but at least it costs only a fraction of correspondingly large SSDs such as the Samsung 960 Pro. In comparison with its HDD counterparts, the transfer rates of the P300 are still good. The hard drive achieved a read rate of 198 MB / s in the test. The same can be said about the writing speed of the P300. In the test, our test files are written to the large memory at a rate of 195 Mbyte / s - the access time is a good 6.88 milliseconds. At least among the 4TB models, we have measured the best results with the P300 so far.
With a great price-performance ratio, the Toshiba P300 with a capacity of four terabytes is aimed at PC users with large amounts of data and a tight budget. Despite the low price, the hard drive does well in the test and can convince with transfer rates of almost 200 MB per second.

The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:

Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.

I do not like the case at all though for the following reasons:
*Opening the top panel is really difficult - it took me about 30 minutes to get one of the buttons to unlock.
*For a High end pc a non-moterised front panel for where you place the CD's is awful. It also makes the most horrible noise when you are opening it and doesn't always stay down.
*Overall the case operates, looks & feels a bit cheap.
The command Centre and SoundBlaster software was also not loaded onto the system when it arrived though customer support provided the links very quickly and efficiently.
I cannot stress though how excellent the service and support is!
