Enthoo 719: Big tower with numerous customization options
At first glance, the casing resembles its predecessor, but PHANTEKS has completely redeveloped the Enthoo 719. The Big Tower offers a sophisticated interior with black powder coating and numerous finesse: In the bottom of the case there is a vertical power supply cover, on which either a second system in Mini-ITX format or a second power supply can be installed. Both brackets for this are included.
The PHANTEKS Enthoo 719 has space for motherboards in SSI-EEB, E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX format. In addition to the eight PCI slot covers, the housing offers two vertical PCI slot covers for the vertical mounting of graphics cards, which can be up to 503 millimeters long and can be admired through the tempered glass side panel. A vertical graphics card holder for mounting in the horizontal PCI slots is also included. Numerous rubberized cable ducts, the supplied cable ties with Velcro fasteners and additional covers offer excellent options for clean, invisible cable routing.
Air and water cooling options
The Enthoo 719 is predestined for the installation of a custom water cooling: A radiator in 480 or 420 format can be installed in the front, however the HDD cages can get in the way. The fans are attached to the outside of the chassis, which means that less space is lost in the interior. There is space for a 360 millimeter model with a total depth of 55 millimeters in the lid before the mainboard is superimposed on the top.
At the back, a single fan model with 140 or 120 millimeters is provided. A radiator up to 480 millimeters in size can be installed on the mainboard tray. The right side wall has numerous openings at this point to optimize the air supply. A 360 heat exchanger can be installed in the bottom of the housing. Openings for fill and drain ports, each with a diameter of 20.5 millimeters, are prepared in the lid and in the front.
PHANTEKS has also thought of classic air cooling and allows the installation of up to 15 120-millimeter fans. There is space for four 120 or three 140 models in the front, while one or 140 or 120 case fans can be installed in the rear and in the cover. There is space for four 120 mm fans on the mainboard tray and three 120 or 140 fans can be mounted on the case bottom. CPU coolers can be up to 195 millimeters high.
Fan hub and RGB LED lighting
PHANTEKS delivers the Enthoo 719 with an integrated fan control for up to eight fans. Three 3-pin fans can be controlled via the speedometer signal and four 4-pin PWM fans via the PWM signal. Another 4-pin connector is suitable for both control options. With separately available splitter cables, even more fans can be connected to the hub.
The PHANTEKS Enthoo 719 has integrated RGB LED lighting in the front cover, which merges into the cover and in the power supply cover. Color and lighting modes can be controlled via buttons on the I / O panel of the Big Tower and synchronized with other digitally addressable accessories using a 3-pin RGB cable. The Enthoo 719 is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync and Razer Chroma.
Controls and connections
The power button of the PHANTEKS Enthoo 719 is embedded in the cover of the housing and is located on the top. In addition, the Big Tower has a modular I / O panel in the front. There are four USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 Type C port, a microphone input and a headphone jack hidden behind the flap

Intel Alder Lake-S alias Core i-12000 is the expected big step for Intel in many areas in the form of the first three models Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K and Core i5-12600K.
The CPUs offer much more performance in almost all disciplines than their predecessors, the IPC increase in the P-Cores also ensures very good results, especially in single-core scenarios and games - over 40 percent growth in single-core benchmarks Within less than two years / generations, of which almost 20 compared to its direct predecessor, Intel has returned to first place in both disciplines. Multi-core scenarios also benefit from additional threads.
In the end, Alder Lake-S won the gaming crown with the fast, but thirsty and very large P-Cores. The gains are not only clear compared to the predecessor, the competitor is also kept in check almost everywhere. One year after the market launch of Ryzen 5000 at the upper end of the range, however, that was also necessary. The bottom line is that Intel Alder Lake-S is still a big hit for Intel. The CPUs bring significantly more life to the market than previous models and with the price advantage especially compared to the 12 and 16 core Ryzen from competitor AMD.
The question of the right mainboard for Alder Lake-S with the new LGA 1700 socket is quickly clarified today: DDR4 is not only more than sufficient, but in many cases even faster than DDR5 and in the end it is definitely much cheaper in the overall package. Even slightly overclocked DDR5 memory doesn't stand a chance against the solid DDR4-3200 setups.
ASUS is known for the ROG STRIX - Republic Of Gamers series. ASUS has also been offering AiO cooling for some time. The top model from the ROG Strix series is the ROG Strix LC 360 RGB. In the standard version, it appears in black and with RGB lighting.
The ASUS ROG STRIX LC360 RGB convinces across the board. Apart from the enormous power of the pump and the fans, it is a feast for the eyes in terms of workmanship, performance and color play. The mirror surface with the ROG in LED - madness. The pump installed by ASUS really didn't promise too much and is a clear plus in terms of performance, even in the lower cooling area.
Above all, it scores with high cooling performance and is at the forefront of AiO cooling. This high performance is not only offered at maximum fan speed, but also at moderate fan speed. With the ROG Strix LC 360 RGB, ASUS delivers a very powerful AiO water cooling system. Apart from the impressive cooling performance, the processing quality, optics (adjustable RGB lighting) and the secure mounting system know how to please. The clear software also speaks for the purchase.
So if you like performance, clean processing of the components and RGB effects, the ASUS ROG STRIX LC 360 RGB is definitely the first port of call.

The Samsung OEM SSD PM9A1 is made entirely of semiconductor components and uses NAND flash memory, which has high reliability and advanced technology in a small form factor. Thanks to the support of the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 4.0 interface standard, performance is much faster than that of SATA SSDs. A comparison of the speed makes it clear that the PM9A1 version is definitely ahead. In contrast to the 6,000 MB / s, the two previous models only offered 3,500 MB / s. This is no wonder. After all, both OEMs were equipped with PCIe 3.0 and not the latest PCIe 4.0 standard.
The Samsung PM9A1 is an M.2 SSD with PCIe 4.0 and practically the OEM counterpart to the 980 Pro.

Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64Bit, pre-installed with all necessary device drivers. Switch on and get started!
The launch of Windows 10 and the associated developments are among the most important market launches in Microsoft's corporate history. Windows 10 not only brings a new version of the operating system onto the market, Windows 10 enables a new platform generation:
"We want to ensure that we offer developers the largest and most vibrant user base for their applications," said Satya Nadella in his opening keynote at BUILD 2015 in San Francisco. Windows 10 is now available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
The browser is really new in Windows 10: Edge replaces Internet Explorer. The new browser doesn't just have the cooler name. It is also much faster. In almost all browser benchmarks, Edge depends on IE 11 from Windows 8.1. It can almost double its pace in Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It looks the same in Google's Octane 2.0 test. Its pace remains roughly the same in the Sunspider test and the Peacekeeper benchmark. Conclusion: When it comes to the browser speed, Windows 10 with Edge catches up a lot. In Kraken and Octane, Edge overtakes the competition, in the Sunspider he stays ahead. The old conditions are only preserved in the Peacekeeper test.
Microsoft already shortened the start times of Windows extremely with Windows 8. If the computer is switched off using "Shut down", it does not switch itself off, but only goes into hibernation - from which it can wake up more quickly. Even with a real Katlstart or restart, Windows 8.1 is slightly slower: However, over time, Windows remembers the files that it needs for the start: The start time is shortened with repeated starts. After ten starts, the two operating systems were almost on par with 20 seconds (Windows 10) and 22 seconds (Windows 8.1).
Windows is actually getting faster and faster the older it gets: For most components, manufacturers are releasing ever more up-to-date drivers that accelerate the hardware. Windows feels like it is getting slower and slower: This is mostly due to the fact that the autostart folder is filling up with more and more entries, more and more tools are running in the background and more and more programs that are no longer used are littering the memory. The performance tests show hardly any difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Sometimes one system is faster, sometimes the other. But all the results are so closely related - with less than three percent difference - that no difference is noticeable in practice. This also applies to tests such as Cinebench R15, which primarily check the processor performance. Even if we repeated the tests several times, nothing changed: When saving and buffering frequently used files, nothing seems to have changed between Windows 8.1 and 10. Conclusion: When it comes to hardware performance, Windows 10 is as fast as Windows 8.1 - or vice versa. So that Windows 10 stays fast, the same rules apply as always with Windows: Install the latest drivers and keep the system clean.
Windows 10 comes with the new Direct X12 3D interface. DX12 is designed to allow game programmers to use the capabilities of the GPU more efficiently. Computers with less powerful graphics cards can also benefit from this and display graphically complex games more smoothly. At the moment, the potential of DX12 can only be demonstrated using synthetic benchmarks such as the API overhead test. Conclusion: Windows 10 has the potential to accelerate games on weaker systems thanks to the DX12. But the concrete results will only show games that use DX12. The first should appear at the end of the year.
Windows 10 lays a good foundation: the hardware manufacturers have to use this to tease out a performance plus with improved drivers. Or in the case of Direct X12 game programmers who use the capabilities of the new interface in games.

I do not like the case at all though for the following reasons:
*Opening the top panel is really difficult - it took me about 30 minutes to get one of the buttons to unlock.
*For a High end pc a non-moterised front panel for where you place the CD's is awful. It also makes the most horrible noise when you are opening it and doesn't always stay down.
*Overall the case operates, looks & feels a bit cheap.
The command Centre and SoundBlaster software was also not loaded onto the system when it arrived though customer support provided the links very quickly and efficiently.
I cannot stress though how excellent the service and support is!
