The PHANTEKS Enthoo Luxe Big Tower in the Tempered Glass Edition is an enhanced and visually enhanced version of the base model Enthoo Luxe. The new version now has a stylish side panel made of tempered glass, which allows an unobstructed view of the interior of the case. Timelessly elegant design with large glass side window
The Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass uses high-quality aluminum on the top and front, which can be illuminated with integrated LED lighting in 10 colors. The tower deserves the name "Luxe", because "lux" is known as the Latin word for "light", which, as a portmanteau word, is aptly fused with "luxury" and "deluxe". Housed in the two-sided "channels" between the chassis and side panels, the preinstalled LED strips shine u. a. in red, green or blue and give off their light pleasant indirect. Switching between the 10 colors is done via a push button on the I / O panel. An additional connector is available for another, optional LED strip in the case, so that the buyer can continue to expand the lighting and also control it. The right-hand side part and the basic frame are made of gray-painted steel, while the left-hand side wall is made of a huge, tinted tempered glass pane, which is held in place by four screws and provides impressive insight into the housing and the installed hardware.

Thanks to the ingenious Phanteks RGB LED adapter cable, motherboards with 12 volt RGB headers can be equipped with the integrated (or also extended by Phanteks RGB LED Strips or upgraded) RGB LED lighting in Phantks housings Enthoo Luxe series , Enthoo Mini XL and Eclipse P400 (S) in all variants (Standard, Window, Tempered Glass, Insulated) and colors together. The trick here is that the aura motherboard lighting can be controlled together with the respective housing lighting on the practical software, which the entire gaming PC is lit as desired uniform and can represent the same LED effects.
Optimum ventilation for heavy hardware
In addition to the aluminum aesthetics and built-in LED glow in 10 possible colors enthuses the Enthoo Luxe inside with all sorts of benefits. In the filtered front, either a 200 mm fan or two 120 or 140 fans can be installed, with two of the latter type are already pre-installed. At the top three ODD slots (of course tool-less) are hidden behind the bezels, the top panel is a flap for the I / O ports, twice USB 3.0 and 2.0 and audio ports - and the LED button. Instead of optical drives, another 120 mm fan can also be placed here. The top piece continues the look seamlessly. At the front there is only an illuminated power button, behind it fan slots for optional fans are hidden in 200, 140 or 120 mm behind black mesh, with a 140 mm model already waiting for its use at the factory. Unlike many other cases, Phanteks donated the Enthoo Luxe not only in the front and bottom, but also here a removable dust filter.
Luxurious water cooling & cable management support

The trick, however, is that they are all automatically speed-controlled - depending on the PWM signal, which dictates the built-in motherboard. An extra cable from the fan hub leads to the 4-pin PWM connector on the motherboard. Thus, the three preinstalled and three other fans can be controlled synchronously and temperature-dependent. The chic Big Tower Enthoo Luxe is thus an excellent choice for style lovers, quality buyers, because it combines a low purchase price with the unique design, the aluminum grace and the lighting options.

That could not let Intel sit on it: The showcase model of the series, the Core i9-9920X, was torn by AMD's Threadripper in terms of performance downright in the ground. The i9-9940X makes up for that and comes with 14 CPU cores, 28 threads and a very large level 2 cache of 14 x 1024 KB.

The MSI X299 SLI Plus is a budget friendly way to get into the high performance LGA 2066 socket, while offering great features. MSI has several offerings for the X299 chipset, and this motherboard is amongst the most affordable (with the X299 Raider being the absolute cheapest). MSI also has a few offerings in microATX form factor. Intel's X299 chipset provides 24 PCIe 3.0 lanes while the CPUs provide the rest.

It's an attempt to safeguard Microsoft's crumbling software hegemony, assailed on all sides by Google and Apple. And it's a vision of the future as Microsoft sees it, where a single user experience spans every piece of technology we touch. Welcome to Windows as a service.
Yes, this new OS is chock-full of fresh features. To name just a few: a lean, fast Internet Explorer replacement called Edge; Microsoft's Siri-like voice-controlled virtual assistant, Cortana; and the ability to stream real-time games to your desktop from an Xbox One in another room. (And in case you're wondering: there is no "Windows 9" -- Microsoft skipped it, going straight from 8 to 10.)
But Windows 10 is also the end of a long, awkward road that began with the release of Windows 8 in 2012, when Microsoft tried to convince a world of keyboard and mouse wielders that touchscreens were the way to go -- or else. Ironically, in 2015, the PC hardware for that touchscreen future is now here -- everything from 2-in-1s such as the Lenovo Yoga line to convertible tablets with detachable keyboards, like Microsoft's own Surface. And Windows 10 smoothly lets users transition from "tablet" to "PC" mode on such devices like never before.
For the rest of the PC universe -- including those who still prefer good old-fashioned keyboard and mouse navigation -- Windows 10 is a welcome return to form. The Start menu, inexplicably yanked from 8, is back and working the way you expect it to. Those live tiles from the Windows 8 home screen still exist, but they've been attached to the Start menu, where they make a lot more sense. And the fiendishly hidden Charms bar has been morphed into the more straightforward (and easier to find) Action Center.
As always, there are some quibbles and gripes with the end product, but all-in-all -- after living with Windows 10 for months -- I can say it's a winner. It's flexible, adaptable and customizable. And it's been battle-tested by an army of beta testers for the better part of a year, making it one of the most robust operating system rollouts in recent memory.
A fresh Start
The Start menu is back; it's almost funny how relieving that is. That humble Start button has been a fixture on the lower left corner of the Windows desktop since the halcyon days of Windows 95, offering speedy access to apps and settings. Press it on Windows 10, and you'll see the latest step in a long conversation about the state of the PC industry.
The past sits on the left: a neat column with shortcuts to your most used apps. Press the "All Apps" button and you'll get an alphabetical list of all of the apps installed on your PC. There are folders in there too -- press them, and extra options will fly out, just like they always have.
The future -- or at least, the future as Microsoft envisions it -- sits on the right side of the Start menu. These are the colorful, animated live tiles that debuted in Windows 8, pulling double duty as app shortcuts and informative widgets. You can resize these live tiles, drag them about to arrange them into groups and pin as many apps as you'd like -- the entire Start menu can be shrunk or expanded to suit your liking. It's essentially a miniaturized version of the fullscreen Start menu we saw in Windows 8. Hate live tiles? Then unpin them to excise them from your computer, leaving you with the narrow column of frequently used apps we've known for so long.
