What can we expect in the new Battlefield 6?

Since the official reveal in July 2025, Battlefield 6 has presented itself as an ambitious return to the strengths of earlier series installments. The title will be released on October 10, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The new edition was developed by DICE, Criterion Games, and Motive Studios under the joint brand Battlefield Studios. But we can also look forward to innovations.

At the center is the return to clearly defined classes – Assault, Support, Engineer, and Recon. This responds to criticism from the community. The game features large, dynamic battlefields on different continents: Egypt, Gibraltar, New York, and Tajikistan - to name just a few examples from the 9 maps.

A central element is the new Kinesthetic Combat System, which is intended to make movement and gunplay significantly smoother and more realistic. This includes mechanics like "Drag and Revive" for quickly rescuing injured comrades, as well as the option to mount weapons on walls to reduce recoil.

Old Battlefield veterans are likely also excited about the redesigned control of the numerous vehicles.

All in all, Battlefield 6 tries new things and brings back the old. We'll keep you updated!
