Since launching the channel in 2016, Malte has been entertaining his viewers on the YouTube channel Malternativ with videos about everyday phenomena and quirky finds - for example from the world of advertising or life hacks. The videos are intended to inform and entertain at the same time. A balancing act that Malternativ manages very authentically. In addition to YouTube content, Malte also enjoys gaming on Twitch, with a particular focus on Final Fantasy XIV Online in 2025.

"I am always where there is a stage." That's how we can quote Malternativ. It sounds like a passion for content creation was laid in the cradle. In this spirit, there is also a desire to increasingly venture into live formats. We are excited to see what else is to come and whether our PCs can keep up.
So far, Malternativ pushes HI-TECH computers to their limits with Stalker 2 in 5k resolution or with multiple raw video tracks. Let's see how long that lasts. But here’s a recent video from Malternativ to see what’s currently going on:
